Electric car owners in India have one more reason to feel relaxed. Jio-bp pulse charging stations can now be found and used through the myHyundai app, the digital charging platform run by Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL).
What Jio-bp Brings
Jio-bp, the operating brand of Reliance BP Mobility Limited, runs more than 7,000 active charging points in over 300 cities. A good number of these sit along major national highways, which helps drivers plan long trips with confidence.
The network also packs serious hardware. Its DC fast chargers range from 60 kW to 480 kW, so vehicles can draw power close to what their batteries can handle. Jio-bp reports a 96% uptime across its network, which matters because a charger that is out of order is as useless as one that does not exist.
How the App Works
The myHyundai app is not restricted to Hyundai vehicles. Any electric car user, whatever brand they drive, can download it and locate public charging points on the platform.
The flow works both ways. HMIL's own DC fast chargers will slowly appear on the Jio-bp pulse charge pro app as well. The company currently operates 183 such stations and wants to grow that count to 600 by 2030.

Hyun Sup Lee, Executive Director and Function Head of Corporate Planning at HMIL, noted that buyers are moving from worrying about range to worrying about charging. Reliable and easy-to-reach infrastructure, he said, is becoming central to the ownership experience.
Jio-bp chairman Sarthak Behuria argued that India's electric shift rests on earning trust at scale. CEO Akshay Wadhwa pointed out that drivers often fear not whether a charger exists, but whether it will actually work when they arrive. High uptime and fast-charging technology, he said, are the answers.
Looking Ahead
The two companies plan to study customer-focused offers down the line. Meanwhile, HMIL will keep building out its own fast-charging network towards the 600-station goal.
For EV drivers, the practical takeaway is straightforward: a wider pool of chargers, reachable through one app, with fewer unpleasant surprises on the road.
