Hyundai Adds Lounge Edition to CRETA, ALCAZAR and CRETA Electric

Hyundai Motor India has introduced Lounge Edition versions of the CRETA, ALCAZAR and CRETA Electric, adding an 11.6-inch rear entertainment system, Golden Bronze paint and upgraded cabins.

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has brought out a special Lounge Edition for three of its SUVs — the CRETA, ALCAZAR and CRETA Electric. The company made the announcement in Gurugram on September 10, 2026.

The idea is simple: make the back seat feel like a premium lounge. The main attraction is a new 29.46 cm (11.6-inch) Rear Seat Entertainment System, which supports OTT apps, video streaming, gaming, phone mirroring and a certified app store. It works alongside the existing BOSE 8-speaker audio setup, which comes with a front central speaker and a subwoofer.

Common Styling and Cabin Features

All three models share a fresh Golden Bronze paint option along with blacked-out elements such as skid plates, side sills, roof rails, spoilers and ORVMs. Inside, there is a lounge-specific interior theme with silver inserts, Moonwhite ambient lighting and a new seat pattern. Rear headrest cushions carry Lounge branding.

CRETA Lounge Edition

This version is built on the King trims. Buyers can pick the 1.5-litre MPi petrol with iVT or the 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel with automatic transmission. It rides on R18 matte black alloys.

ALCAZAR Lounge Edition

The ALCAZAR version is offered only in the Signature variant with the 1.5-litre diesel AT. It gets an exclusive five-seater layout and a voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof, along with R18 black alloys.

CRETA Electric Lounge Edition

The electric SUV's Lounge Edition is based on the Excellence Long Range variant with the Home Charger option. Extra kit includes a dashcam and a rear wireless charger, plus R17 black aero alloys.

Prices

Ex-showroom prices for the CRETA Electric Lounge Edition start at ₹24,34,100 and go up to ₹25,22,100 across four variants.

What the Company Says

Amit Dhaundiyal, Head of Product Strategy and Planning at HMIL, said customers today look for more than just transport. He noted that the package brings lounge-style interiors, rear-seat gaming and connected entertainment together, and reflects the brand's push to add value across its SUV range.

More details are available on the company's official website, hyundai.co.in.
