Porsche has launched the Cayenne Electric in India, with customer deliveries beginning on 30 September 2026. The fully electric SUV is offered in standard and Turbo variants, adding a new flagship to the brand's Indian EV portfolio.

These are starting prices before optional equipment, registration and insurance. The Turbo costs INR 50.24 lakh more than the standard version. Final on-road pricing depends on the selected configuration and location.

## Performance: up to 1,156 PS

Both models feature two electric motors and all-wheel drive. Their highest outputs are available with Launch Control.

Normal operating output is 408 PS for the standard model and 857 PS for the Turbo. The Turbo's 1,156 PS figure is a Launch Control maximum, rather than its continuous output. PS and mechanical horsepower are different units.

## 113 kWh battery and claimed range

The Cayenne Electric uses a 113 kWh high-voltage battery. Global combined WLTP claims reach 642 km for the standard SUV and 623 km for the Turbo.

These figures are global test-cycle claims, not confirmed India-certified ranges. Porsche's India model page currently lists combined ECE range as "TBA". Actual range varies with equipment, speed, temperature and driving conditions.

## Fast charging: around 16 minutes under optimal conditions

The 800V architecture supports up to 390 kW DC charging, with up to 400 kW possible under specific conditions. Porsche's India page quotes approximately 16 minutes for a 10-80% charge under optimal conditions.

Achieving that time requires a suitably powerful charger and the specified battery conditions. Lower-output chargers will take longer.

AC charging is supported at up to 11 kW, with an optional 22 kW capability. Home charging installation should match the vehicle specification and available electrical supply.

## Cabin and everyday use

The interior introduces a curved OLED Flow Display, a 14.25-inch digital instrument cluster and an optional 14.9-inch passenger screen. Physical controls remain for frequently used functions such as audio volume and climate settings.

Equipment and optional packages should be checked against the India configuration before ordering.

## Electric and petrol Cayennes continue together

The electric Cayenne expands the model family alongside existing combustion and hybrid powertrains globally. Indian buyers now have a fully electric Cayenne option combining SUV practicality with particularly strong acceleration in Turbo form.
