Electric vehicle maker EKA Mobility has set up its first sales point in Hyderabad. The company has done this along with local partner Sked Ride Pvt. Ltd. The outlet sits on Miyapur Main Road, close to JNTU College.
Vehicles On Sale
Customers at the new location can see the company's full electric commercial line-up. This covers three models of electric three-wheelers: the AVI 3W Cargo, the AVI 3S and the AVI 6S.
Bigger vehicles are available too. Buyers can choose from 7M, 9M and 12M electric buses, which come in Coach and Low Floor versions. A heavy-duty electric truck, the EKA55T, is also part of the range.
Sales, Service And Spares
The Miyapur centre works as a 3S facility. That means customers get vehicle sales, servicing and original spare parts at one place.
Skilled technicians will handle repair and maintenance work there. The outlet will also use EKA Connect, an AI-based fleet management tool from the company. Fleet owners can use it to keep an eye on how their vehicles perform and reduce downtime.
What The Partners Said
Rohit Srivastava, who heads business and growth at EKA Mobility, said the Hyderabad outlet forms part of a plan to grow the company's retail network. He added that buyers will get the full electric commercial range along with after-sales service.
Kotta Prithvi Krishna Reddy, who owns Sked Ride, said the outlet will serve commercial users across Hyderabad and the rest of Telangana. He pointed to logistics, passenger transport and last-mile delivery as key areas.
Manufacturing Strength
EKA Mobility runs three plants at present. One makes buses at Koregaon Bhima. Another builds trucks and small commercial vehicles at Chakan near Pune. A third site, spread over 47 acres at Pithampur, is still being developed.
Once fully ready, these units can produce up to 10,000 buses, 24,000 small commercial vehicles and 4,000 trucks every year.

A physical presence in Hyderabad should make it simpler for fleet operators in Telangana to buy electric commercial vehicles and keep them running. With sales, service and parts now available locally, businesses in the state have one more option as they shift towards electric transport.
